Description: If you remember these, you are cool. If you still have some, you are beyond cool. A 45 rpm adapter (also known as a 45 rpm record insert, 45 rpm spindle adapter, spider, or 7-inch adapter in reference the usual size of a 45 rpm record) is a small plastic or metal insert that goes in the middle of a 45-rpm record so it can be played on the standard size spindle of a turntable. The adapter may be a small solid circle that fits onto the spindle (meaning only one 45 could be played at a time) or a larger adapter that fits over the entire spindle of a record changer, permitting a stack of 45s to be played.
Description: Remember those X-Ray vision glasses that you could get out of comics books for $1? Yeah, they never worked as advertised but they were pretty cool looking!

Description: In 1895, Mucha produced the poster for Gismonda, a play starring Sarah Bernhardt. Bernhardt highly admired Mucha's work, commissioning a six-year contract with him. The style employed in Gismonda, le style Mucha, became a sensation in Paris and became known as the Art Nouveau movement. Following Gismonda, Mucha attained an influx of work. He was shortly thereafter commissioned by F. Champenois, a wealthy patron and Paris-based printer. While working with Champenois, Mucha created decorative panels, or posters with text that were solely for decoration. These panels were published in large print runs.
